Lillian Straub

Lillian Marie Straub, 86, of Elsie, MI, passed away Monday, April 12, 2021, at Laurels of Fulton, Perrinton, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie, MI, on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 1:00 P.M., with Pastor Kathy Leydorf-Keck officiating.  Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Elsie, MI. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Lillian was born in Bancroft, MI on June 24, 1934, the daughter of Clare and Bermuda (Tullar) DePue.  On August 17, 1962 Lillian married Phillip Elmer Straub in Webberville, MI; he passed away on September 14, 2008.

Lillian was a homemaker who enjoyed going to garage sales, doing puzzles and making jewelry. She was a member of Elsie United Methodist Church.

She is survived by 8 children: Marie and Jim Ade of Elsie, MI; Angela Rose of St. Johns, MI; Phyllis and Mike Hammond of Howell, MI; Lou Ann LaClair of Alma, MI; Bill and Jackie Crossley of Bannister, MI; Ralph and Lois Crossley of Middleton, MI; LJ and Debbie Straub of Owosso, MI; and Danny and Deanna Straub of Wisconsin.  She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Phillip, and two grandsons: James Ade and Douglas Crossley.
