Lettie Jessup

Lettie L. Jessup age 89, of St. Louis, MI, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at Pine River Healthcare Center, St. Louis, MI.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, MI, on Friday, March 31, 2017at 1:00 P.M., with Dr. Keith Wise officiating.  Burial will take place at Chapel Garden Cemetery, Seville Township, MI. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service.
Lettie was born in Hillsdale County, MI on August 8, 1927, the daughter of John Henry and Mary Harriet (Dawkins) Petro.  She graduated from St. Louis High School with the class of 1945. Lettie married Theron Eugene Jessup on June 29, 1946, in Alma, MI. Theron passed away on October 25, 2014.
Lettie worked at Redmond Motor Company in Ithaca, and Gratiot Hospital, Alma, MI in the kitchen and laundry departments.  Lettie loved reading and cooking. She was a member of St. Louis Church of Christ St. Louis, MI.
She is survived by her son Robert and Judy Jessup of Alma, MI, son in law Howard Fisher of St. Louis, MI, 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, children; Cheryl Fisher, Ken Jessup, Brian and Tammy Jessup, 7 sisters and 3 brothers.
