Lena May Dennis

     Lena May Dennis, age 90, of Ashley, MI, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
     Lena's wish was to be cremated and there will be no services held.
     Lena was born in Prescott, Michigan on May 31, 1935, the daughter of John Joseph and Lyda (Tester) Stone. She attended Atherton Schools.
      Lena enjoyed quilt making, gardening, cooking, and canning. She also enjoyed her time outdoors, especially taking walks in the woods and forging for mushrooms and wild berries. Lena was a hard worker and making a home for her family was very important to her. She loved to play cards and dominos.
     She is survived by her son Patrick Dennis II; her twin daughters: Paula Woolworth and Ruth Ann Holly; her son Dell Dennis, and her daughter April Dennis; grandchildren: Rosa, John, Elisa, Lana, Jessica, Kevin, and Stephen; her sisters: Christina Burtch and Mary Belk. Lena was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Patrick Stephen Dennis, also her siblings: Frank Stone, Alexander Stone, Joseph Stone, Pricilla Walker, Florence Trout, Robert Stone, Howard Stone, Barbara Stone, and Eva Rice.
