Lawrence Ray Kinkead

     Lawrence Ray Kinkead, age 85, of Ithaca, MI, passed away Monday, August 3, 2026, at his brothers’ home.
     Cremation will take place and there will be no services.
     Lawrence was born in Petoskey, MI on December 24, 1940, the son of Ernest and Garnet (Smith) Kinkead. He worked for Wolverine Worldwide in Ithaca for many years. Lawrence was an avid cyclist who loved exploring on his bike and proudly rode all the way to Greenfield Village. He also had ridden his bike from Ithaca, MI, across the Mackinac Bridge, to St. Ignace, MI. He also served his country in the United States Army as a cook. 
     He is survived by his daughter Ann Buchler, grandson Coty Buchler, brother Doug Kinkead, sister Betty Kinkead, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Rose and Chris; and his brothers: Sam, Edd, and Dave.
