Larry Douglas Cowdrey

Larry Douglas Cowdrey, age 69, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away January 4, 2016 with his family by his side.

Larry was born April 3, 1946 to James and Wilma (Zimmerman) Cowdrey in North Star, Michigan.

On August 1, 1964 he married Suzanne (McWilliams) Cowdrey to whom he was married for 51 years.

Larry graduated from Ithaca High School in 1964. He received his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Central Michigan University. Larry was a retired CPA and Auditor for the State of Michigan.

Larry loved camping, fishing, CMU football, Tigers baseball, landscaping, grilling out and spending time with his family and friends.

Larry is survived by his wife Suzie (McWilliams) Cowdrey; daughter Tiffany (Stephen) Stone; son Matthew (Michele) Cowdrey; grandchildren Kelsi, Dawson and Liam; and his little dog Sammie.

A memorial service is to be planned for a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society.
