Lance Arlo Barnard

     Lance Arlo Barnard, age 61, was a lifelong Bath, MI resident, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2025.
     A Celebration of Life will be held at Bath Legion Hall, 5480 Clark Road, Bath, MI 48808, Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 2:00-4:00 P.M.
     Lance was born in Lansing, Michigan on February 20, 1964, the son of Arlo Ernest and Elaine Esther (Cushman) Barnard. He attended Bath High School.
     Lance loved spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid football fan, and enjoyed going to watch his grandson's football games. Lance also was a Detroit Tigers fan. He also enjoyed time fishing with his friends. Lance will be remembered for his kind and giving heart and always willing to help anyone. He was very down to earth and calming. Lance worked for many years in the Heating and Cooling business. He started working with his father at a young age and later worked alongside his son which made him very proud. Lance was a SAL member and helped with SAL endeavors. Always remember... "Keep on keeping on" and "If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle 'em with bullshit", and also "Good enough".
     He is survived by his son Andy and Natalie Barnard; grandchildren: Braedyn and Autumn; his loving companion Ginger Fullerton; his brother Terry Barnard; his sister Deb and Don Adams; his sister Ardel and Rusty Sumner; his brother Todd and Skeet Barnard; his brother Mark, and Colleen Barnard. Lance is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends and loving extended family Joe Wessel and his wife. Lance was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jimmy Barnard in infancy, his wife Cindy Barnard, his sister-in-law Geet Barnard, his uncle and aunt Gordy (Kathy) Barnard, and also his grandparents.
