Ladonna June Hardman

     Ladonna June Hardman, age 75, of Ithaca, MI, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025.
Ladonna was born on September 25, 1949, to Raymond and Marvel Rutherford. Ladonna grew up in rural Ithaca graduating with the class of 1967. On December 23, 1966, she married John Hardman. Ladonna worked various jobs over the years collecting many good friends along the way.
     She was a very creative and talented individual. She painted murals, sewed, quilted and could craft anything she dreamt up. John and Ladonna were able to travel extensively and enjoyed wintering in Arizona for many years. Ladonna enjoyed playing basketball and softball in her youth and enjoyed many years of golf. Ladonna resided for 52 years in a house built by her father, Raymond. She enjoyed camping trips, mushrooming, boating, bowling, gardening, canning, and many evenings of softball at Reed Park.
     Ladonna is survived by her husband of 58 years, John; her children, Trina (Kirby) Smith, and John (Jill) Hardman; grandchildren Cole (Cooper) Smith, Tammy (Dakota) Dawley, Brock (Maggie) Hardman, and Ellie (Malik) Smith She was preceded in death by her parents, brother & sister- in-law Michael (Patricia) Rutherford, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
     A private family graveside service will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery, Emerson Twp., MI.
