Keith William Parrott of DeWitt, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on February 21, 2026, at the age of 43. His loss leaves a hole in the hearts of many.
A kind yet strong force, Keith was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and a dedicated friend. He graduated in 2001 from Lakeville High School and went on to earn a degree in electrical engineering from Michigan State University. Keith worked as the Manager of Power Supply at the Michigan Public Power Agency, where many colleagues turned into friends.
He married the love of his life, Robyn, on June 21, 2008. Together they built a beautiful life rooted in devotion, laughter, and unwavering partnership. Their marriage was a true reflection of friendship, marked by quiet everyday moments, shared dreams, and a love that only grew stronger with time; A true love story that will continue to inspire all who were blessed to witness it.
He thrived in the outdoors, whether it be hunting, fishing, swimming, or creating a natural outdoor playscape for his son, Henrik, on their 10-acre property. An avid runner, Keith tackled everything from beer miles to 50-mile ultra-marathons. He loved trail running with his friends, with a particular favorite being Sleepy Hollow, a place he recently began to share with his daughter, Hadley. Yet, it was his selflessness that truly defined him. Keith many times would forgo his own running goals to help his friends reach theirs. He simply loved being part of the adventure.
Keith is survived by his wife Robyn (Simpson); daughter Hadley (8); son Henrik (5); mother Pamela and father Larry Parrott; brothers: Dan (Kari Gottman) Parrott, Lee Cobb, Glen (Chris) Parrott, and his sister Rachel (Shawn) Sweeney; father-in-law and mother-in-law Brian and Joni Simpson; brother-in-law Aaron (Terri Delgado) Simpson; numerous nieces and nephews; and a community of devoted friends. Keith is preceded in death by his grandparents: William and Charlotte Parrott and Keith and Bernice Harris.
