Keith Allen Harter

     Keith Allen Harter, age 73, of St. Johns, Michigan, passed away Monday, May 12, 2025, at his home.
     A cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at Union Home Cemetery, St. Johns, Michigan.
     Keith was born in St. Johns, Michigan on May 13, 1951, the son of Clarence Eugene and Myrtle May (Trueblood) Harter. He graduated from Carson City High School. On August 7, 1971, Keith married Donna Marie Riddle in St. Johns, Michigan. They were blessed with forty-seven years of marriage, prior to her passing on December 23, 2018.
     Keith was a Red Wings fan and often attended their games. He enjoyed meeting friends at McDonalds for coffee. He dearly loved his cat, Charlie. Keith was a life member of the Tuscan - Mt. Gilead Masonic Lodge #178 of Hubbardston, Michigan. He held several positions in the Lodge and was very active in their activities.
     He is survived by his son Thomas (Kimberly) Harter; his daughter Stephanie (Steve Burgett) Harter; four grandchildren: Cheyenne, Gannon, Kylee, and MaKenna; six siblings: Robert (Carol) Harter, Karl (Mary) Harter, Daniel Harter, Kathleen (Gerald) Couzzings, Ellen (Richard) Bloomer, and Jean (Roger) Seward; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Donna.
