June Marie O'Neill

     June Marie O'Neill, age 90, of St. Johns, MI, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at the University of Michigan Health-Sparrow Hospital, Lansing, MI.
     A Private Graveside Service will take place at Mt. Rest Cemetery, St. Johns, MI.
     June was born in Maybee, MI on January 6, 1934, the daughter of Joseph and Ruth (Meffert) Hoffman. June married William O'Neill on September 15, 1951, at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Ann Arbor, MI. They were blessed to celebrate 72 years of marriage together.
     June enjoyed painting, photography, arts & crafts, poetry, and bible study. She loved the outdoors, camping, hiking, and gardening. She loved flowers, especially orchids. June was happiest when she was surrounded by her family for holidays and birthday celebrations. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Johns, MI.
     She is survived by her husband Bill O'Neill of St. Johns, MI; sons: William O'Neill, Jr., of Lansing, MI; Mark and Kathy O'Neill of DeWitt, MI; grandchildren: Jeff (Brooke) O'Neill, Melissa O'Neill, Jessica (Mark) Haynick, Shawn O'Neill, and Jamie O'Neill; and great-grandchildren: Isaac, Jailynn, and Avery. She is also survived by her brother Lee Hoffman of Saline, MI; sister-in-law Mary Hoffman of Three Rivers, MI; and step-sister Ann Egler of Ann Arbor, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Robert Hoffman and Dale Hoffman.
