Judy Ann “Nammy” Miller, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2025, in Williamsville, New York, at the age of 77. Raised in Durand, Michigan and a long-time resident of Jacksonville, Arkansas, her warmth and love touched all who knew her.
Born Judy Ann Brown on June 15, 1948, in Boonville, Arkansas, to her late parents, Clyde and June Brown, Judy’s life was one of adventure and service. As a dedicated Air Force spouse, she built a loving home for her family across the country and the world, from Durand, Michigan, to Athens, Greece, and many states in between, including Hawaii.
Judy’s greatest joy was her family. To her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she was their beloved &”Nammy,” and she cherished every moment spent with them. She was a member of the Delta Kappa Little Rock, AR chapter of the Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority, where she also served as Secretary. A passionate sports fan, she cheered enthusiastically for the University of Michigan Wolverines and Michigan State Spartans, but her heart truly belonged to the Arkansas Razorbacks, often celebrating with a spirited &”Woo pig sooie!”; Her famous last words, & “Love you more!”, perfectly encapsulate the boundless affection she had for her family.
Judy is reunited in death with her beloved husband, Dennis “Bumpy” Miller (d. 2005); her son, Jason (d. 1982); and her parents.
She is lovingly remembered and survived by her daughters: Kathy Faubert of Williamsville, NY, and Kindra (Jason) Pike of Southampton, NJ. Her memory will be treasured by her grandchildren: Nicolas Miller (Irina), Bradley Agustin (Michele), Jordan Pike (Michael), Mathieu Faubert (Patty Devlin), Benjamin Pike, and Magnolia Pike. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Bane Agustin, Ka’eo Agustin, Riley Jensen, and Kai Miller. Judy also leaves behind her brother, Jim (Terry) Brown; her nieces: Christina (Jon) Jones and Michelle (Justin Moore); her great-niece, Payton Brown; and her great-nephews: Tyler Moore and Cade Moore.
