Judith Ann Copeman

Judith Ann Copeman, age 74, of Ithaca passed away February 4, 2016 at MidMichigan Medical Center in Midland.

Judy was born April 23, 1941 in Lansing, Michigan. Her parents were Glenn Francis and Garnet (Maxwell) Shiffer. Judy was employed as a Medical Secretery for Michigan State University for 35 years.

Judy enjoyed spending time with her family and at church,. She also loved to shop and go garage saying. She loved helping other people and would buy baby clothes to give to anyone in need. She particularly liked to help the ASPCA and veterans.

Judy is survived by her sons Edward (Donna) Copeman of Detroit, James (Deatria) Copeman of Middleton, Crag Copeman of St. Johns; seven grandchildren James II (Helena), Joshua,, Brittany, Deatria, Kristina, Corey (McKayla), Travis; sister Ellie Hayward of Lansing; and brother Joe Shiffer of Coldwater.

Funeral services will be 11am Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Ithaca. Interment will be in Rowley Road Cemetery in Williamston. Visitation will take place 9am until the time of the service at the church.
