John Paul Pueschner, age 64, of St. Louis, MI, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023, at MyMichigan Medical Center – Gratiot, Alma, MI.
A Private Family Memorial Service has been held and John was buried on his parents' grave beside his brother in Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Louis, MI.
John was born in Alma, Michigan on May 29, 1958, the son of Robert Joseph and Helen Louise (Sowers) Pueschner. He graduated from St. Louis High School with the class of 1976. He worked at Anchor – Danly for over thirty years.
John enjoyed hunting and anything that involved the great outdoors. He had a big heart and always put others first. He was a humble man who was content with what he had. Even though he was stubborn to the core, John had an outstanding sense of humor and an ability to make everyone laugh.
John loved his family. He was a family man at heart and worked hard to provide for them. He never missed a birthday and even now his calendar was marked for his loved ones' special days. From the day of Gracie's birth, Grandpa loved doting on his one and only granddaughter. The highlight of our day was to talk with him; we will miss our phone calls.
He is survived by his daughter Shannon Pueschner of Alma, MI; son Nate Pueschner of St. Louis, MI; granddaughter Gracie Pueschner, sister Linda (Andy) Kovac, nephew Adam (Katherine) Kovac, niece Katie (Robert) Curtis and their daughter Kaitlyn, his only great niece, and nephew Alex Kovac. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Frank.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105, or Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund, 315 E. Warwick Dr., Alma, MI 48801.
