John Henry Foster, II

       John Henry Foster, II, age 74, of St. Louis, MI, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Schnepp Health Care Center.   

       Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis, MI, at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, with Pastor Mona Kindel officiating. Burial will take place at Salt River Cemetery, Shepherd, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service. 

     John was born in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan on October 1, 1949, the son John Henry and Virginia Ruth (Starks) Foster. He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was severely injured and became permanently disabled.   John enjoyed telling stories going out to eat and driving to new places. 

       He is survived by two daughters: Jennifer and Gary Every of Alma, MI; Jodi Foster of Maryland; one son John Henry and Stacey Foster III of Vestaburg, MI; three grandchildren: Conner, Colton, and Celeste. He is also survived by six sisters: Mona Steiner, Merrie Foster, Marilyn Lapham, Marian and Ken Blevins, Michele and Lloyd Brock, and Alisa and Roberto Rastelli. He was preceded in death by his parents.
