John Damien Fedewa, age 74, of Lansing, MI, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026.
A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at a later date at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Pewamo, MI.
John was born in Carson City, MI on July 21, 1951, the son of Walter John and Bernita Mary (Cook) Fedewa. He was a graduate of Pewamo-Westphalia High School and a graduate of Michigan State University with a bachelor's degree in agriculture. He was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity at MSU.
John worked at Brookside Laboratories as a soil tester. He was a past Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus in Pewamo. John enjoyed playing cards and socializing with friends. He made friends easily and was always willing to help others. John was very generous and supported many different charities.
He is survived by his brother Gerard (Liduina) Fedewa and his nephew Orry Fedewa. John is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. John was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Donald Fedewa and his sister-in-law Lesley Fedewa.
