Jody Lee LaLonde

     Jody Lee LaLonde, age 50, of Riverdale, MI, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025, with her family by her side.

     A Memorial Service will be held at Oasis Community Church, 1250 E. Washington Road, Ithaca, MI at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 3, 2026, with Pastor Scott Nemeth officiating.

     Jody was born in Carson City, Michigan on May 23, 1975, the daughter of Dale and Della (Aungst) LaLonde.

     Jody lived life on her own terms. She was fiercely honest, deeply loyal, and unapologetically herself. Jody never followed a traditional path, but she lived a meaningful one- marked by resilience, courage, and a heart that felt deeply.

     She wasn't defined by titles or roles. Instead, Jody built family through connection and presence. She showed up when it mattered, spoke truth even when it was hard, and loved in ways that would stay with people long after the moment passed.

     Jody understood brokenness and met it with compassion. She had a rare ability to see people clearly and care without pretense. Independent and strong- willed, she lived honestly and taught those who loved her the value of standing firm and true.

     Jody is survived by her father, Dale (Traci) LaLonde; her sister, Lisa (Scott) Nemeth; niece, Kara (Brenden) Conn; nephew Kaleb Gribben; nieces: Brianne (Charles) Wing, Cara (Jordan) Wirth, Tara (Matt) Leonard, Brooke (Oswald) Thomas, and many great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Della LaLonde, her sister, Dawn Gribben, her maternal and paternal grandparents, and her great-nephew Cashius Nemeth.

     Her legacy is not found in tradition, but in impact. She will be remembered for her authenticity, her strength, and the unmistakable space she filled in the hearts of those who knew her.

     Jody was free. She was fierce. And she was deeply loved.
