Jodi Lynn Rueckert

     Jodi Lynn Rueckert, age 57, of St. Johns, MI passed away peacefully Friday, November 28, 2025, at her home.
     A cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
     Jodi was born in Lansing, Michigan on September 27, 1968, the daughter of Charles Frederick and Judy Kay (Thompson) Rueckert. She graduated from Everett High School, Lansing, Michigan, with the Class of 1987. She worked for DeWitt Public Schools for many years.
      Jodi loved her family, football Sundays, and spending time together. She had a great sense of humor and her family always enjoyed her laughter. She liked spending time at Houghton Lake with her family. Jodi had a big heart and was always ready to help others. She enjoyed people and a good conversation. She liked taking drives in the car, especially to look at Christmas lights. She had a sweet tooth and was always looking for a treat. Her love for children was seen in everything she did. Her hugs were awesome!
      She is survived by her daughters: Alyssa Rueckert and Emily Rueckert; her parents Chuck and Judy Rueckert; her sister Dana Rueckert; her brother Chad (Christine) Rueckert; her grandmother Phyllis Thompson; and her nieces and nephews: Brooke, Tori, Nick, Josh, Jake, and Katie. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: LD Thompson and Kenneth and Helen Rueckert.
