Joan C. Bozung

     Joan C. Bozung, age 87, of St. Johns, MI, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025.
     A Memorial Mass will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Johns, MI, on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 10:00 A.M., with Rev. Fr. Michael Williams presiding.  Burial will take place at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Hubbardston, MI, at a later date.
     Joan was born in Hubbardston, MI on July 5, 1937, the daughter of Henry and Lena (Domile) Bozung. She was a graduate of St. Johns the Baptist Catholic School in Hubbardston, MI.
     Joan worked as a cashier at McNalley’s Dawn Donuts in DeWitt. She will be lovingly remembered as the best sister and aunt in the world, she was Aunt Joan to all who knew her. Joan volunteered her time at Hazel Findlay Country Manor in the laundry department. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Johns.
     Joan is survived by her sister Jeanette and Harry Sanborn of Hubbardston, MI. She is also survived by many, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings: Margaret, Mildred, Alvin, Ray, Father Jim, Gene, infant brother Gerald Bozung, and Bernice Caudy.
     Joan's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Hazel Findlay Country Manor for the excellent care she received during her time there.
