Jerry Duane Schaub

     Jerry Duane Schaub, age 86, of Ithaca, MI, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Masonic Pathways, Alma, MI.

     A Graveside Service will be held at Ithaca Cemetery, Ithaca, MI at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, with Pastor Mona Kindel officiating.

     Jerry was born in Gratiot County, Michigan on November 11, 1935, the son of Jacob and Leola (Reed) Schaub.  Jerry married Marilyn Pierce on June 30, 1955, in Ithaca, MI.

     Jerry retired from Wolverine Worldwide after 34 years of service.  He then went to work with Precision Plastics and retired after 10 years.  Jerry was an avid hunter.  He collected antique firearms and was a gun smith for many years. 

     He is survived by his wife of 67 years Marilyn Schaub of Ithaca, MI; daughter Vickie Bovee of Lansing, MI; son Jerry Schaub of Alma, MI; two grandchildren: Jerrilynn and James Sampunaro of Santee, CA; Christopher and Caitlyn Schaub of Norfolk, VA; and eight great- grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Dale Schaub and sister Kathyrn Bennett.
