    "Boo" Jason Eugene Welch, age 46, of West Glacier, MT formerly of St. Johns, MI, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2026.
    A Celebration of Life will be held at American Legion Hall Post #502, Elsie, MI, on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 2:00 P.M.
    Jason was born in St. Johns, Michigan on December 27, 1979, the son of Lloyd A. Welch and Ronda L. (Jones) Acre. He was a graduate of St. Johns High School.
     Jason loved everything about being outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and camping in the mountains with Annie. Jason's greatest joy was his daughter, Gracie and his dog, Molly.
     He is survived by his significant other Annie Lane of Montana; daughter Gracie Welch of Lansing, MI; father Barney and Amy Welch of St. Johns, MI; mother Ronda and Dean Acre of Elsie, MI; brother James Welch of St. Johns, MI; sister Jenifer and Mark Thornton of Ovid, MI. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jason was preceded in death by grandfather Lloyd "Bud" James Welch, Jr. and his grandparents Robert and Lela Jones.
