Janet Walker

Janet Marie Walker, age 79 of St. Johns, MI, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at Addington Place, DeWitt, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes - Osgood Chapel, St. Johns, MI, on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at 3:00 P.M., with Pastor Mona Kindel officiating. The service will be streamed live on the funeral homes Facebook page.  Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.

Janet was born in St. Johns, MI on October 14, 1940, the daughter of Kenneth and Gladys (Daggett) Wilkie. Janet graduated from Rodney B. Wilson High School with the class of 1958.

She married Thomas William Walker on November 11, 1961; they were married at Church of the Nazarene, St. Johns, MI and Tom survives her.

Janet was a secretary for the St. Johns Public Schools for 32 years. She worked at Rodney B. Wilson High School and St. Johns Middle School and she retired in 2001. She was a member of Church of the Nazarene in St. Johns, MI.
