James Michael Losen

     James Michael "Jim" Losen, age 70, of East Lansing, MI, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026, at Ovid Healthcare Senior Care Home, Ovid.
     Cremation will take place and there will be no services at this time.
     Jim was born in Lansing, Michigan on July 26, 1955, the son of Ronald Lee Losen and Mary Jane (Franklin) Losen. Jim graduated from Perry High School. Jim married Joyce Yelsik on July 4, 2000, on Muskegon Lake, MI. Jim retired from AT&T as a network engineer in 2022.
     Jim had several bands throughout the years with his brother Dan and friends. Jim and Joyce enjoyed traveling and riding bikes together. He proudly served his country in the United State Army.
     He is survived by his wife Joyce Losen; his daughters: Andrea, Julie
     Kelly, Jennafer, Jessica; and his grandchildren: Robbie, Cole, Kristin, Avery, Ella, Kylie, Ryker, and Teegan. He is also survived by his sisters: Debbie, Diane, Lynda and step-brothers: Jeff and Dan. He was preceded in death by his father Ronald Losen and mother Mary Jane O'Malley and brothers-in- law: Jimmy and Lloyd.
