James Gorney

James Anthony Gorney, age 51, of St. Louis , MI , passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 , at Mid-Michigan Medical Center - Midland , MI .

Cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.

James was born in Saginaw , Michigan on January 27, 1970 , the son of Ronald A. and Jean J. (Wackerly) Gorney. He graduated from Alma High School in 1988.

He enjoyed carpentry, hunting, NASCAR and a good football game. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his friends. When feeling well he would do anything for you and he sure did know how to make people laugh. He will be so missed.

He is survived by father and step mother Ron Gorney and Rebecca Burhans of Elwell , MI , sister Ronda and Chad Salchert of Higgins Lake, MI, and niece Sloan Salchert.

He was preceded in death by his mother, and grandparents: James and Marjorey Wackerly and Anthony and Marion Gorney.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to a charity of the donor's choice or if you would like to purchase a tree in honor of him you could do so from Twin City Landscape in St. Louis . The family will plant the trees up north in his memory. He did so much work there and loved being up north with his sister Ronda in Roscommon, MI.
