Jacqulyn (Ewer) Huntoon

  Jacqulyn "Jackie" Huntoon, age 55, of Weidman, MI, passed away Friday, May 5, 2023, at McLaren Central Michigan Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, MI.

     A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, MI, at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.

     Jackie was born in Alma, Michigan on December 15, 1967, the daughter of James Benton and Edith Margaretha (Ehrhardt) Ewer. She graduated from St. Louis High School with the class of 1986. She proudly served her country in the U.S. Navy.

     Jackie loved the outdoors, campfires, and watching deer. She enjoyed music, Detroit Lions football, and spending time with her dog Dingo. Her family and friends have fond memories of enjoying the food she cooked. Most of all, Jackie loved her son Dillon and called him "My Treasure".

     She is survived by her son Dillon of St. Louis, MI; mother Edith (David) Bessom of St. Louis, MI; four siblings: Teresa (Ed) Ward of St. Louis, MI; Coni Ewer of St. Louis, MI; Tom (Crystal) Ewer of Crystal, MI; Robert (Samantha) Marshall of Stockton, CA; longtime boyfriend Paul Otenbaker of Weidman, MI; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, infant daughter Erin Ewer, and nephew Jeremy Ward.

     In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Smith Family Funeral Homes to assist with the funeral expenses.
