     Jack Eugene Kidder, age 94, of Ashley, MI, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Laurels of Carson City, Carson City, MI.
     Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at Lowe Cemetery, Essex Twp., MI at a later date.
     Jack was born in Maple Rapids, Michigan on November 17, 1931, the son of Thaddeus and Elva (Richards) Kidder. Jack married Carol June Winsor on November 19, 1949 at her parents' house in St. Johns, MI.
     Jack worked for GM for 30 years, retiring in 1984. In retirement, they spent winters in Florida and summers in Harrison, MI. He enjoyed woodworking and making holiday decorations. He was a member of Maple Rapids United Methodist Church Maple Rapids, MI.
     He is survived by his wife Carol Kidder of Ashley, MI; his daughter Gloria and Kurt Woodbury of St. Johns, MI; his son Kim Kidder of St. Johns, MI; and son-in-law Stanley "Wally" Grubaugh of Crystal, MI. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Angela (Steve) McNulty, Steven (Kim) Kidder, Keith (Nicole Whitmore) Kidder, Chad (Stephanie Meyer) Grubaugh, and Jason (Andrea) Grubaugh; great-grandchildren: Kyra (Dekota) Thies, Carly McNulty, Kiana (Noah) Schneider, Kaya (Brandon) Paisley, Kainen Kidder, Kaelynn Valente, and many great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Julie Grubaugh, his grandson Stanley Grubaugh, his daughter-in-law Laurie Kidder, his siblings: Richard Kidder, Gladys Cartwright and infant sister Leola.
