Heidi Joanne Wells

     Heidi Joanne Wells, age 51, of Ovid, MI, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Ovid Healthcare Senior Care Home, Ovid, MI.
      Per Heidi’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no services held.
      Heidi was born in Owosso, MI on May 7, 1975, the daughter of Robert Rudolph and Joanne Marie (Griggs) Porubsky. She graduated from Ovid-Elsie High School, with the class of 1993.
      Heidi was very crafty. She had an eye for quilting and loved to color in adult coloring books. Since she was a child, Heidi collected stuffed animals and Jeff Gordon memorabilia. More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her son, watching pro-wrestling tournaments, and movies.
      Heidi was a selfless person, and would give anyone the shirt off of her back. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
      She is survived by her mother Joanne Porubsky; her son Robert L. Porubsky; her brothers: Gene Porubsky, and Matt Porubsky; her sister Deb (Mike) Coleman; nieces: Kristy (Bruce) Fry and Tabitha (Casey) Barrett; great-nieces: Kaitlyn Fry and Brianne Fry; and great-nephews Kaden Fry, Gunnar Barrett, and Gavin Barrett. Heidi was preceded in death by her father Robert R. Porubsky, and brother Andrew W. Porubsky.
