Gregory Lee Geisenhaver

     Gregory Lee Geisenhaver, age 81, of Ovid, MI, passed away Friday, August 1, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.
     Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes - Houghton Chapel, Ovid, MI, at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 9, 2025, with Pastor Kathy Leydorf-Keck officiating. Burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery, Ovid, MI. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 12 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
     Greg was born in Lansing, Michigan on April 21, 1944, the son of Kenneth and Belva (Killen) Geisenhaver. He graduated from Bath High School. Greg married Beverly Jane "Bev" (Mead) on December 5, 1970, at the United Church of Ovid. They were blessed with 53 years of marriage, prior to her passing on April 30, 2024.
     Greg was a truck driver for many years. He loved going to the races with family, especially his granddaughter Brena. Greg enjoyed attending local car shows with his Corvette and Chevelle, where he won many trophies. He looked forward to fishing trips at Houghton Lake and having coffee with friends and family.
     He is survived by his daughters: LaNiece and Brent Densteadt of Lansing, MI; Becky and Chris Vincent of Ovid, MI; his granddaughter and the apple of his eye Brena Vincent of Ovid, MI; his grandchildren: Daniel and Emily Densteadt, and Shane and Shelby Densteadt; his sister Gayle and Dennis Lockwood of Lansing, MI; and his brother Jeff Geisenhaver of Lansing, MI. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren: Cayden and RayLynn. He was preceded in death by his parents: Kenneth and Belva Geisenhaver, wife Bev, his father and mother-in-law Harold and Brenda Mead, his brother-in-law Barry Mead, and his nephew Brent Mead.
