Gloria Jean (Chase) Brewer

     Gloria Jean Brewer, age 75, of St. Louis, MI, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023, at MyMichigan Medical Center, Alma, MI.
     In following Gloria’s wishes, a cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
     Gloria was born in Ionia, Michigan, on December 18, 1947, the daughter of George Sherman and Mary (Shirey) Chase. She lived most of her life in the St. Louis area.  Gloria absolutely adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed watching Jeopardy nightly as well as the Hallmark Channel.
     She is survived by son John (Donna) Simmons of Green Bay, WI; daughter Heather Brewer of Ionia, MI; three grandchildren: Stacia Holcomb, David (Samantha) Holcomb, and Jacqlyn (Jamie) Carpenter; four great-grandchildren: Dawson Holcomb, James Carpenter, Maddison Carpenter, and MacKenzie Carpenter; sisters: Susie Hansbarger, and Sharon Hitsman; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Shirey, father George Chase.
