Georgetta Ann Garry

     Georgetta Ann Garry, age 54, of Alma, Michigan, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at her home.

     A cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

      Georgetta was born in Rhodes, MI on May 2, 1971, the daughter of George Richard Currie and Treva Ann (Mabe) Cantrell. She graduated from Pinconning Public Schools and earned an Associates Degree in Secondary Education from Delta College.

     Georgetta loved reading and writing stories. She enjoyed crocheting, playing games, watching football and playing Fantasy Football with Dominic. She had a big heart and welcomed anyone into her family. Most of all, Georgetta loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

      She is survived by her children: Pamala (James) Currie-Tousley, Brittney (Richard) Brooks, and Dominic Currie; seven grandchildren: Trevor Currie, Kaylee Miller, Juliet Miller, Nathanal Currie, Jaina Brooks, Harlee Brooks, and Shania Brooks; and siblings: Nancy Brooks, Tracy Cantrell, Pam Harrington, and Joe Currie. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Stella Martin.
