George Speers

George A. Speers, 88, of St. Johns, MI, passed away Friday, February 14, 2020, at Sparrow Hospital - Clinton County, St. Johns, MI.

In following George's wishes, cremation has taken place and burial will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI at a later date.

George was born in Vevay Township, MI on December 23, 1931, the son of Arthur L. and Gladys (Dillon)  Speers. He graduated from Owosso High School.  George proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was employed in plant security for General Motors in Lansing for nearly 35 years.

George is survived by his wife Evelyn Speers, 6 children, 8 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. George was preceded in death by his parents and 3 siblings.
