Fred Edwin Piper

Fred Edwin Piper, age 65, of Bridgeville, Michigan, died Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at his home.

Fred was born July 14, 1952, the son of Harry E. and Florence E. (Baker) Piper, Sr.  He married Cindy Lou Sanders on July 19, 2002, and together they made their home in Bridgeville.  He loved working on other people’s vehicles or anything with a motor.  He also loved to mow his lawn and always did other peoples’ yard work if they needed help.  Fred worked for Frakers of Pompeii and Bill Wallace of Maple Rapids.

Fred is survived by his wife, Cindy; three sisters, Dottie (James) Bancroft of Maple Rapids, Sally (Carl) Chapin of Stanton, and Glady Kay (Tom) Lamble of Livonia; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers; one sister; and a nephew, Shawn Lamble.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, July 19, at the Barden Funeral Home in Ithaca.  The family will officiate.  If you would like to speak, contact Cindy or Sally, so they can be sure to include you. A definite location will be announced before the service date.  Burial will be at a later date.
