Fred Ivan Goodrich

    Fred Ivan Goodrich, age 65, of Weidman, MI, passed away Friday, June 26, 2026, at his home.

    A private graveside service will be held at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Breckenridge, MI, at a later date.

    Fred was born in Alpena, Michigan on September 14, 1960, the son of George and Agnes (Wallin) Goodrich. He was a graduate of Breckenridge High School.

      Fred like to dance, gardening, landscaping, and going to garage sales. His grandson, Damon was his pride and joy. Fred was very creative, talented in woodworking and welding. He had a love of horses, training and riding them. Fred collected antique tractors, he drove his 8N Ford Tractor over the Mackinac Bridge. His best friends were his pets.

    He is survived by his mother and step-father Agnes and Dale Clingenpeel of Wheeler, MI; son Jake Goodrich of Detroit, MI; son Aaron Goodrich of Nashville, TN; daughter Amber Goodrich of Mattawan, MI; stepson Keith Spellman of Ithaca, MI; grandchildren: Maxwell, Charlotte, and Damon Goodrich; sister Cathy Goodrich of Wheeler, MI; brother Glenn and Amy Goodrich of St. Louis, MI; brother Robert and Monica Goodrich of Breckenridge, MI; sister Jennifer and Roger Toner of St. Louis, MI; long time friends and former companions: Tracy Holt of California and Emma Goodrich of Mattawan, MI; uncle Fred Wallin of Weidman, MI. Fred was preceded in death by his father George Goodrich, sister Sally Goodrich, and his sister Margaret Espinoza.
