Frank Kopejtko, age 95 of Bannister, Michigan passed away Sunday, December 28, 2003 at Memorial Healthcare Center in Owosso, Michigan. There will be no services. His cremains will be buried at a later date in Strongs, Michigan.
Frank was born on September 8, 1908 in Cleveland, Ohio. He attended Fenmore Country Schools. He married Goldie Veronica Stanger in Lansing in 1936. She passed away November 23, 1985. He was a self-employed carpenter. He traveled to states throughout the country, building houses, bridges, and other buildings. He loved to fish and hunt and most of all he truly enjoyed his career. He resided in Bannister, and moved to Oregon for 36 years. He moved back to Bannister are 5 years ago.
He is survived by his daughter, Arlene Johnson of Bannister, MI, 4 grandchildren, Denise & Gary Boumann of Vicksburg, MI, William & Debbie Johnson of Yarmouth, MA, Connie Johnson of Bannister, MI, and Archie & Katrina Johnson of Bannister, MI, 10 great-grandchildren, Jeremy Boumann, Michelle Boumann, Bethanie Boumann, Jessica Boumann, Lindsay Johnson, Billie Johnson, Aaron Johnson, Taylor Johnson, Ian Johnson, and Haley Johnson. He was predeceased by his parents, wife, and brother.
The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca Chapel.
