Emma Jean Showalter

Emma J. Showalter, age 85, of Ithaca passed away August 28, 2016 at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw.

Emma was born October 2, 1930 to Homer and Pansy (Hensley) Estes in Milton, West Virginia. Emma’s priority was caring for her family. She also taught elementary school for several years.

Emma is survived by her husband Dick; children Steve (Dawn) Showalter of Atlanta, MI, Kaye (Bill) Shirley of Mt. Pleasant, Rick (Joan) Showalter of Williamston, Mike (Jackie) Showalter of Bay City, Kelly (Rick) Showalter Johnson of Poulsbo, WA; many grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Charles Estes.

A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.
