Emma Jean Beracy

Emma Jean Beracy, 98 of Breckenridge died December 22, 2013.

She was born December 2, 1915 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of John and Mary Pavlik. She married Lewis Beracy in November of 1943.

In 1948 They moved to a farm just outside of Breckenridge. Being a farmer’s wife was a lot of work, but she loved it. She loved sewing, making crafts, going to garage sales and flea markets, most of all she loved her animals.

She was a great mother and grandmother. She will be truly missed.

She is survived by two children, Sharon (Roger) Lytle of Wheeler, Terry Beracy of Mt. Pleasant; grandson Rex Beracy; and two great grand daughters Paige and Jayde Beracy of Ithaca.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lewis, brothers Chuck Pavlik and John Pavlik, and a sister Mae Quinn.

Funeral services were Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at Barden’s Funeral Home of Ithaca with Twila Kniebbe officiating. Interment was in North Star Cemetery.
