Ellen Irene Keeler, age 81, of Ithaca, MI, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at Sparrow Hospital, Lansing, MI.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at 2793 W. Washington Rd., Ithaca, MI, with Pastor Doug Strait officiating. Private burial will take place at Ithaca Cemetery, Ithaca, MI.
Ellen was born in Alma, Michigan on January 9, 1940, the daughter of Robert Earl and Dora Arlene (Gibbs) Riedel. She graduated from Ithaca High School with the class of 1961.
Ellen loved the Lord, her family, and was a mom to many. She was very witty, humorous, and made everyone smile with her kindness. She will be missed by her family and friends.
Ellen enjoyed going to every Ithaca football game with her daughter Kathy and granddaughter Coral. She was also passionate about watching granddaughter Angel in local horse competitions. She was also very proud of granddaughter Lacey who lives in Japan and loved to watch her dance. She really liked being around her grand puppy Luna and her three cats. Ellen and her sister Judy had a monthly girls outing of going shopping and out to eat at JJ Ruby's.
Ellen is survived by 4 sons: Terry (Linda) Keeler of Ithaca, MI, Robert (Rebecca) Keeler of Sneads Ferry, NC, Steve (Dorinda) Keeler of Muskegon, MI, and Brien (Lisa) Keeler of Burleson, TX; daughter Kathy (Jeff) Williams of Ithaca, MI; 12 grandchildren: Jeniffer (Luke) Kelly, Lacey Williams, Angel (Kyle) Henderson, Sage Williams, Drew Keeler, Coral Williams, Brie Williams, Porter Williams, Cassandra Keeler, Bradley Keeler, Kylie Keeler, and Garrett Keeler; and 7-great grandchildren: Zach, James, Mason, Tate, Stella, Harper, and Eden. She is also survived by 5 siblings: Arthur (Kay) Riedel, Judy (Dennis) Tugen, Helen Bongard, Susan Bates, and Robin (Bill) Rogers; and many nieces and nephews.
