Ella Gantz

Ella May Gantz, age 95, of St. Louis, MI died Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Pine River Healthcare Center in St. Louis.

There will be no services held.

Ella was born in Fremont, MI on December 24, 1915, the daughter of Herman and Hattie (Miller) Rierson. She married Lester Beard on December 15, 1942. He preceded her in death on November 15, 1973. She then married Lynn Gantz on June 16, 1978. He passed away on April 23, 1984. Ella was a lifelong resident of St. Louis. She worked at Wolverine Shoe, and was a janitor at Chemical Bank. She enjoyed working with her flower gardens.

Ella is survived by her son A.C. Beard of St. Louis, MI, 3 grandsons; Kevin Beard of St. Louis, MI, Jason Beard of Alaska, Daren Beard of St. Louis, MI, and 2 great granddaughters; Jenna and Kylie. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
