Elberta "Bert" Fowler, 80, of Ithaca, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014 at home with family by her side. She was born in Saginaw on March 7, 1933 the daughter of Robert and Bernice (Hamilton) LaLonde.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Rubert "Whitey" Fowler of Ithaca; 4 children, 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Donald LaLonde, her twin sister Roberta Culver.
Per her wishes a private service has been held.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Commission On Aging "Meals on Wheels."
