Elaine Whitford

Elaine Whitford, age 75, of Perrinton, Michigan died Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Laurels of Fulton, Perrinton, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca, MI on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 2:00 P.M., with Rev. Bill Dye officiating. Burial will take place at North Star Cemetery, North Star, MI. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 from 6-8 P.M. and on Sunday, March 3, 2013 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Elaine was born in Ashley, Michigan on December 2, 1937, the daughter of Asa and Heloise (Ladd) Kellogg. She graduated from Ashley High School with the class of 1956. On June 5, 1954 Elaine married RG Whitford in St. Louis, Michigan and she resided most of her life in the Ashley and Perrinton area. Elaine drove school bus for Fulton Public Schools for over 15 years. She enjoyed going to the casino and was a member of the Rebekah Lodge #194.

She is survived by her husband, RG Whitford of Perrinton, MI, 3 sons; James and Patricia Whitford of St. Johns, MI, Mark and Leigh Whitford of Ashley, MI, Randy and Colleen Whitford of Ashley, MI, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents.
