Eddie Rosso Light

        Edward Light, Jr., age 78, of St. Johns, Michigan, passed into Heaven on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at the University of Michigan Health-Sparrow Lansing, Lansing, Michigan. 
       A Graveside Service will be held at Mt. Rest Cemetery, St. Johns, MI, on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 12:00 P.M. with St. Johns-Ovid Masonic Lodge #105 members officiating. After the service at the cemetery, a time for sharing stories and light lunch will be provided at the Lodge, 915 West State Street, St. Johns, Michigan. 
      Eddie was born on Dec. 4, 1945, to parents Margaret Kuripla Light and Edward Light.
      Eddie was a lifelong member of the Masonic Lodge and was very highly thought of within the group. Eddie was a very hard working man and very friendly with everyone who knew him. He hauled trash, mowed lawns and plowed snow until he retired. He will be missed very much by his family and many friends. Rest in peace Eddie!
      Eddie was predeceased by his parents, sisters: Helen Ouellette and Irene Paine, brothers: Jim Light and Gary Light, a niece, Margaret Light and nephews Jimmy Light and David Ouellette.
      Other family members include a niece Karen Rockman (Rick), nephews: Con, Steve and Bobbie, Raymond Henning (Martha) and Jim Henning (Pam), and sister in law Janet Light.
