Duane D. Kelley

     Duane D. Kelley, age 74, of Riverdale, MI, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2025, at home with his wife by his side.
     Per his wishes he will be cremated and there will be no services.
     Duane was born in Alma, Michigan on September 7, 1951, the son of Ernest "Bud" and Bertha Marie (Butcher) Kelley. Duane graduated from Alma High School with the class of 1969. He married Beverly Bartlett on October 5, 1973, at the Edmore Baptist Church in Edmore, MI. Duane worked as a security guard for Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Pleasant for many years. He loved animals, especially eagles and horses. Duane enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. He loved playing guitar and playing games with his family. He will be remembered for his imagination and storytelling.
     He is survived by his wife Beverly Kelley, children: Jeremy Kelley, Daniel and Sarah Kelley, Shannon and Robert Hanks, and Amy and Sean Mayberry. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Jeanelle, Dylan, Makayla, and Shauna; and two great-grandchildren: Ava and LaDamion. He is also survived by several adopted brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest "Bud" and Bertha "Marie" Kelley.
