Dr. Richard Aubrey Alleman, Jr.

     Dr. Richard Aubrey Alleman, Jr., age 80, of Homer, MI, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Laurels of Carson City, Carson City, MI.
      A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
      Richard was born in Alma, Michigan on December 7, 1945, the son of Richard Aubrey and Thelma (Forrester) Alleman. He was a graduate of St. Louis High School, then attended Michigan Tech and Lake Superior State. Richard graduated dental school at University of Michigan in 1972.
       Richard was an avid reader and loved gardening. He loved going to the Upper Peninsula and visiting with friends. Most importantly, he loved his Sunday trips to get ice cream. Richard had a dental practice in the Homer area for over 50 years.
       He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Joyce (Bell) Alleman; son Todd and Mary Bates; daughter Kelly and Brad Ostroske; sister Vickie Alleman; sister-in-law Martha Bell; Richard is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, his nieces and nephews also many cousins. Richard was preceded in death by his parents.
