Douglas Weaver

Douglas Weaver, 62, of Belding, died Saturday, November 29, 1914, at home after a long illness.  He was born April 6, 1952, the son of Miles and Maxine Weaver.  He graduated from Midland High School and attended Ferris State University.  After various jobs in the Midland area, Doug worked for the Gus Macker Basketball Association where he met his long-time companion, Marie Rutter.  He worked at One Stop Corporation in Walker, MI.   Doug had a great love of music and volunteered annually at the Wheatland Music Festival.

He is survived by his mother, Maxine Weaver;  partner Marie Rutter and daughter, Nautica Rutter;  two brothers, Brad (Jan) Weaver and Tom (Teresa) Weaver;  and sister, Connie (Les) Sowa.

The funeral services will be at Barden’s Funeral Home in Ithaca, MI, at 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 6 ^th .
