Douglas Dwight Cooper

     Douglas Dwight Cooper, age 71, of Owosso, MI, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024, peacefully at his home.
     A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
     Douglas was born in Owosso, MI on May 23, 1953, the son of John Herbert and Mabel Vangeline (Nye) Cooper. He was a graduate of Owosso High School.
     Doug's lifelong passion was agriculture; he lived and worked his family Septaquintaquinquecetennial Farm for most of his life. He was a talented fabricator, fabricating things on the farm and telling good stories. Doug worked at Winn's Electric and as a delivery person for Fastenal. He loved his children and his family; they were closest to his heart.
     He is survived by his son Jeremy and Sandra Cooper; five daughters: Kaydence Cooper, Alexis Cooper, Gabrielle Cooper, Rachel Cooper, and Madelyn Cooper; and his sister Debbie and Rodney Hites. Doug was preceded in death by his parents, brother John Cooper, and sister Valencia Rowell.
