Dorothy Jeanette Wilson

     Dorothy Jeanette Wilson, age 95, of Perrinton, MI, passed away quietly Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Maple View Assisted Living Inc., Ithaca, MI.
      A Memorial Service will be held at Carson City United Methodist Church, Carson City, MI at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 25, 2025, with Pastor Melissa Wagner officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 until the time of service. Burial will take place at a later date at Bloomer Township Cemetery, Carson City, MI.
     Dorothy was born in Greenville, MI on September 13, 1929, the daughter of Glen and Clara Adelaide (Bower) Pierce. She attended Carson City Public Schools. On December 13, 1947, she married Harry Lowell Wilson, Harry passed away on January 29, 1984.
     Dorothy worked as a Nurse’s Aide at Carson City Hospital and later she worked in home healthcare. She loved to crochet, read and was an excellent baker, also was an avid puzzle person. Dorothy loved to fish and camp. But most importantly her family was the dearest to her heart, especially her "most precious" granddaughters and her special great-grandchildren. She was a member of Carson City United Methodist Church.
     Dorothy is survived by her daughter Carol Elliott; son Rick and Becky Wilson; granddaughters: Mindie Graszler Ted Therrien, Stacey and Andy Williams, Kristine Leasher (Larry Leasher), Jennifer Wilson, also Lauren and Thomas Monroe; 9 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Marlene Pierce. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son Ron Wilson, son-law Gilbert Elliott, brothers Richard (Joanne) Pierce and Dr. James Pierce also sisters Jane (Al) Gavett and Lucy (Pat) Benedict.
