Donna Surbrook

Donna L. Surbrook, age 77, of Ithaca, MI, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Schnepp Health Care Center, St. Louis, MI.

Graveside services will be held at Riverside Cemetery, St. Charles, MI. Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at 1:00 P.M.  with Pastor Carl Cecil officiating.

Donna was born in Alma, Michigan on February 19, 1944, the daughter of Ivan Lloyd and Helena (Teed) Sherman. She graduated from Fulton High School with the class of 1963. Donna married Richard Roy Surbrook on October 17, 1964, at the Edgewood Church of God. He preceded her in death in 1989. Shortly after Dick passed she moved to Glenny, MI. Donna returned to the Ithaca area in 2019.

Donna was an avid bear collector and she sold Avon. She enjoyed word search puzzles. Donna and Dick were members of the Moose Lodge in St. Charles for many years.

She is survived by daughters: Dawn Surbrook and Tom Shanaham of Saginaw, Michigan, Darlene Keyes and Timothy M. Hart of Harrisville, Michigan, and Helena Ostrander of Oscoda, Michigan, twin brother Dale and Bev Sherman of Ithaca Michigan, Sisters: Barbara Harrington of Boyton Beach, FL, Janice Mangus of Lake City, FL, and brother in-law Jerry Martin of Avon Park, FL. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Tiffnay Keyes, Emily Keyes, Leila Jerry and Kevin Vahlbusch, Richard Surbrook, Timothy A. Hart and Tammy Kessel and great grandchildren: Gary A. Boston, Annie Boston, Elliana Huntinghouse, Mackenzie Vahlbusch, Isaac Huntinghouse, Aubree Keyes and Baby Hart. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard, infant great grandson Logan Martinez, 3 sisters Malveline Martin, Ellajean Mahler, and Charlotte Muscott.
