Diane Marie Harger, age 87, of St. Johns, MI, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, Lansing, MI.
Funeral Services will be held at Pilgrim Global Methodist Church, St. Johns, MI, at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, January 16, 2026, with Pastor Andy Croel officiating. Burial will take place at South Bingham Township Cemetery, St. Johns, MI, at a later date. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the church.
Diane was born in Smyrna, MI, on May 26, 1938, the daughter of Carl A. and Fleda M. (Berger) Youngs. Diane drove bus for St. Johns Public Schools for 30 years. She loved knitting, bowling, and drinking coffee. In her younger years, she enjoyed gardening. She was an avid cribbage player, and crossword solver. She was a member of Pilgrim Global Methodist Church, St. Johns, MI.
She is survived by her children: Sharon (Gordon) Willett, Christine (Greg) Dean, David (Dolores) Tompkins, Gordon (Tina) Tompkins, Traci Deering, Dan Harger, Eric (Terri) Harger, and Holly (John) Noble. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Diane DeCatur, her son Mike Tompkins, her son-in-law Darrell Deering, her grandchildren: Jessie and Alyxandra, and her brother David Youngs.
