Della Marie Teegardin

     Della Marie Teegardin, age 97, of St. Louis, Michigan, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Rosewood Adult Foster Care, Ithaca, Michigan.
     A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Louis, Michigan.
     Della was born in Pleasant Valley, Michigan on October 31, 1927, the daughter Paul LaVerne and Mary Samantha (Bohannon) Moore. She graduated from Shepherd High School with the class of 1945. On May 10, 1946, Della married Lawrence Milton Teegardin at his parents' home in Pleasant Valley, MI. They were blessed with sixty-two years of marriage prior to his death on December 30, 2008. They lived their entire life on the family farm. She worked at the Alma J.C. Penney’s for over 20 years.
     Della's faith was the foundation of her life. It affected everything she did. She spent many years attending the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church. Her family was very important to her. She cherished her relationship with her 9 siblings, children and grandchildren. She was a tremendous cook and loved dinners with her family. She was always willing to help wherever she was needed. She will be greatly missed by everyone.
     She is survived by her daughter Karen (Dave) Galloway of St. Louis, MI; four grandchildren: Megan Galloway, Nathan Knapp, Jeremy Galloway, and Tim (Sara) Bissell; great-grandchildren: Adam (Abbey) Bissell, Amber (Nick) DeRosia, Alex (Madelyn) Greenup, Megan Greenup, and Madeline Greenup; four great-great grandchildren: Owen, Della, Saylor, and Rhett; her brother Dick (Myra) Moore, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lawrence, son Reg Teegardin, granddaughter Shannan Bissell, and eight siblings: Denver, Alvin, Bob, Joe, Ivan, Pauline, Ralph, and Vern.
