Deborah Lou Deardorff, age 70, of Alma, MI passed away May 29, 2022 with loved ones by her side.
Known too many as Debbie, she was born on May 14, 1952, to Bonnie Holiday (Griffin) and James Deardorff in Alma, MI.
Debbie will be remembered for her one of a kind personality. In her younger years, she was a bartender and those stories will live on for years. She enjoyed helping people, changing careers to being nurses aid/direct care worker for many years. She had a love for WWE wrestling and enjoyed spending time with loved ones. Not to mention all the "fur babies" she loved along the way. Willing to help anyway she could she hardly asked for anything in return. As long as there was gas in her tank, she'd give you a ride, "and maybe enough for a cold pop," she'd always smile and say.
She is survived by her daughters: Michelle (Glen) Goulette of Alma, MI; and Tammy (Keith) Johnson of Caro, MI; her beloved sister Sherry (Terry) Terwilliger of Elwell, MI and younger brother Tony Holiday who she cherished, along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Bonnie Holiday of Riverdale, MI; father "Jim" Deardorff of Six Lakes, sister Sheila Molina of Alma. Including many lost friends along her journey.
Cremation has taken place and a private family celebration will be held in August.
Debbie was a free spirit who will always be remembered for her strength and ability to strengthen those around her.
