Dawn Marie Breidinger

     Dawn Marie Breidinger, age 57, of Ithaca, MI, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at her home.
     Visitation will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca, MI, on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 10:00-2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
     Dawn was born in Alma, MI, on July 8, 1969, the daughter of Darrell Dee and Dorothy Breidinger. She graduated from Breckenridge High School. On June 18, 2022, she married Adam Deitrich, at Uncle John’s Cider Mill, St. Johns, MI, and he survives her. 
     Dawn was a beloved member of the community, and worked for Commercial Bank in Ithaca, for over twenty-six years, before her retirement in 2025.
     Dawn loved to work on projects around the house, often finding any excuse to add a fresh coat of paint to one of the rooms in her home. Anytime her grandchildren came over, they always left cleaner than they had walked in. 
     Keeping her family happy and healthy was one of the most important things to Dawn. Dawn cherished her family, her community, and the Detroit Lions. She will be greatly missed. 
     She is survived by her husband Adam Deitrich; son Gage (Amber Eckert) Warren; and her grandchildren: Darrell, Madeline, Owen, Eleanor, and Luna. She was preceded in death by her parents.
